2022 Season Donations

2022 Season Donations

The Chester Tennis Club Board is committed to revitalizing the Club and reigniting tennis in Chester. We are excited to announce Michal Ciszek will be returning as head Pro for the 2022 season. Michal brings a wealth of experience to Chester, had an ATP ranking and was Jennifer Capriati’s hitting partner. Michal will be offering daily programs for both junior and adult players as well as private lessons and clinics.

Junior members (18 and younger) within the municipality are invited to join the Club free of charge.

Last year we were able to resurface two of the three courts thanks to the generosity of our donors and the Province. The clubhouse has been repainted and the grounds have been cleaned up.

With your help we could be on a roll ! The third court is scheduled to be resurfaced this summer. We have engaged a contractor to shore up the clubhouse, fix the roof, extend the deck and upgrade the bathroom to allow handicap access.

The Chester Tennis Club is reaching out to you for financial assistance. Your contribution will ensure the continuation of this important asset of the community.

Donations may be made by e transfer to financial@chestertennisclub.ca or cheque payable to the Chester Tennis Club, PO Box 303, Chester NS, B0J 1J0.

Donations greater than $50.00 are eligible for a tax receipt by making cheques payable to the Municipality of the District of Chester, with reference to the Chester Tennis Club. Please mail your cheque to Chester Tennis Club, PO Box 303, Chester NS B0J 1J0.

For businesses wishing to sponsor $500, we will display a 2×4’ outdoor banner to acknowledge your contribution. Kindly contact us at tennis@chestertennisclub.ca

Two auditors have been appointed to oversee all funds raised.

The Chester Tennis Club thanks you for your support and we hope you will join us on the courts !

Sincerely,
